Endotracheal Tubes

An Endotracheal Tube (ET Tube) is a medical device used to secure and maintain an open airway by inserting a flexible tube into the trachea (windpipe). It is commonly used during surgeries, emergencies, and critical care to deliver oxygen, anesthesia gases, or to support mechanical ventilation. The tube helps protect the airway from obstruction, aspiration, and ensures effective breathing support for patients who cannot breathe on their own.
